We are thrilled to share some exciting news that embodies the spirit of compassion and community that defines our Aviary Club. It is with great pleasure that we announce our partnership with the Union Gospel Men’s Center of Hope Dallas. Through this collaboration, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need and support the incredible work being done by the Union Gospel Mission. Union Gospel Mission has a rich history of serving the less fortunate, beginning as a street ministry in 1949 with a group of dedicated Christian businessmen reaching out to the poor in Dallas. Over the years, their commitment and dedication have grown, enabling them to offer essential services, including food, clothing, and shelter to those in need.
As Lone Star Aviary Club, we firmly believe in the power of partnership and the impact we can create when we join forces for a common cause. Therefore, we have committed to providing financial assistance of $250 monthly to the Union Gospel Men’s Center of Hope Dallas. This contribution will not only serve as an encouragement to their tireless efforts but also assist them in continuing their transformative work. Union Gospel Mission’s faith-based rehabilitation program, initiated in 1988, has touched countless lives, offering spiritual counseling, job training, and God’s redemptive love. Graduates from their program are referred to as “disciples,” a testament to the life-changing impact they have experienced through the Mission’s support.
